A natural-language agent over all of Our World in Data — it searches, composes charts and overlays, and explains them with cited OWID articles. Unlimited with your own API key (stored in this browser only). For quick questions about a single chart, just ask on any chart page — a few free questions a day, no key needed.
Add an API key to enable the agent
Your key is stored in this browser's localStorage and sent only with your own chat requests. It is used in-memory on the server and never logged or persisted.
Running your own fork? Set LLM_PROVIDER in .env instead — including Ollama for fully local use.
Ask for any data OWID publishes — the agent finds it, combines it, renders a chart with citations, and can explain it using OWID's own articles.
